Open-Sourcing Carbon

The world of EVE Frontier will be powered by the Carbon Development Platform. As mentioned in the Governance section, the CDP will be completely open-sourced over time. This adds a super-charged layer of programmability atop the core game client - extending the composability of the Frontier even further than Smart Objects do. An interview was recently conducted around CCP Games' plans to open-source Carbon: CCP Games' Carbon Development Platform going open source.
