Unlocking Player Creativity

On the Frontier players will be able to build close to anything they can imagine by utilizing resources found there. The composable nature of the resources of the world allow for an extensive materials ecosystem. As each item is a Singleton, players will be creating and changing unique items with unique and permanent history, such as inscribing major battles it participated in.

Entrepreneurial players will take advantage of these powerful capabilities to make unique and enticing builds, fetching a price on the open market for their creation. All this will be bound by Digital Physics and enabled by tools such as Smart Assemblies, embedded HTML 5 User Interfaces in the client, Smart Contracts running in EVE Net and the fact that all the code powering this ecosystem will be open-source.

This does not mean that everyone needs to be an engineer to participate. Creative vision and entrepreneurial spirit will be the driving force. We expect players to create a ‘bounty board’ system for players to request contributions from experts or for in-game tasks. If the contracts are filled, the EVE Token will be transferred to the player who delivered the goods. With this simple system, development in the Frontier will be respondent to player demand and capitalistic forces.
