Open Source Access

The world of EVE Frontier will be fully moddable and open-source, decentralizing its infrastructure to eliminate reliance on any centralized authority. By open-sourcing the Frontier’s codebase, including the front-end gameplay client as well as the full CDP game engine, we seek to ensure the ecosystem’s trust, longevity, and invitation for third-party development. Both the gameplay client and CCP’s Carbon Development Platform will be fully accessible, granting players unprecedented access to the core primitives of the game and the codebase itself.
